I also like the themes of T2 of the future not being set, but how you can also, in a deep irony, see it being somewhat pushed in a set fashion toward the inevitability of Judgement Day by the technology left by the T-800 from T-1. That both skynet & the resistance are only delaying it.

since I havent seen T1 in a while I can't give an accurate opinion there. I never liked the Reese's character. IDK why. I felt it was weird how he was just always into Sarah - that's probably what you mean though. I always like the Dynamic of T2 of the T-800 learning of John much better.

T2 was the movie I watched most growing up. I probably watched that movie like.....70 times or more. So I have my bias toward it.

T2, I think, came out at a time where it could blend both practical effects & CGI very well.

Speaking toward the characterization of Sarah between T1 & 2:

The effects hold up.....okay. The ending sequence was rough last time I watched it. T2 holds up a lot better, imo.

My reading of the story is Eren used the rumbling to take all these sins upon himself knowing the scouts would stop him; thus, hopefully, giving the islanders a chance at peace and freedom with what remained of humanity.

Eren isn't a Hero. He is a complicated character to talk about though. Boiling it down to "he was right" or "he was wrong" both kinda miss, Imo.

Technologically, the AoT world was WWI-ish equivalent. Nukes were around the corner. They may have gotten wiped out doing nothing.

This would be an interesting one as it could be a build around type of card & seems like it would be right at home in edison. Gets checked hard by stardust. Could make for an interesting game.
