I spent some time reading minutes of early 20th c. United Daughters of the Confederacy meetings in NC and one thing stood out—they spent a lot of money to acquire an original KKK banner, and then they sold postcards with a picture of the banner to raise money for Confederate monuments.

Looks like they filed a 990 twice, in 2008 and 2011. They're not in the current IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File, so their nonprofit status was probably revoked.

I had the impression that NCSPA was largely just a facebook page run by Rickey Padgett. They're listed as an active nonprofit by the Sec. of State, their website says they're a 501(c)3, but I don't see any 990s for them.
