Just look at the angle of the first shot through the windscreen, it's not from the front, it's from the side.

After watching my kid (age 8) go through the same experience with expensive doctors and therapists I have to say your experience is the norm not the exception. What's helped us is finding communities and talking with other people, seeing what they did, stealing ideas and ignoring others.

Practice in a hallway where you can have your hands on both sides until you find your balance. (The hallway outside of Band at Notre Dame was the best hallway for this)
