Oh but I agree. I just it's notable that the movie not only has this line but as an adaptation is a lot more generous to the creature. I don't hate or love that I just think it's noteworthy.

You could argue it did become monstrous though only through the worlds and in particular Victor's cruelty.

Certainly true for the Del Toro film, though I feel it sanitised the creature (I don't believe Shelley called it the monster) just a bit. Don't get me wrong that's the general reading for good reason Victor is flawed and the world is cruel to the creature.

Only saw that for first time this week funnily enough. Yeah definitely a human but clearly not canon anyway but might reflect what was assumed at the time.

It sucks, at least off the train now. Other people on board no shame and I picked up with headphones on. Mostly talking about stocks which isn't so bad but definitely combines into a genre of guy

Seems some wanted that but teams on individual projects didn't really seem that way. But yeah in terms of creating a single aligned continuity they failed. But the aim of a definitive evergreen transformers mythology success. Binder seems to shape story of Cyberverse, Earthspark and ONE

Supporting my notion that aligned wasn't supposed to be a single continuity but just a general shared mythology of transformers to follow in broad strokes and still appears to do do to this day
