I keep thinking about Trump cutting off Starmer and berating Zelensky, about how undiplomatic, juvenile and pathetic his behaviour is, about how his supporters will see it as 'strength', and about how that actually says so much about the American right-wing demographic.

And I will continue to call it the 'Gulf of Mexico', because calling it the 'Gulf of America' is fucking stupid.

-We serve an international audience, a majority of which is outside the U.S.
-The Gulf of Mexico is an international body of water, and the U.S.’s authority to rename it is ambiguous.

There was a power cut in Leeds last night. After cyber attack threats, I immediate thought "*gasp* Russia!".
My partner reminded me that Tory cuts to maintaining the Grid were to blame.
The lesson here?: Never attribute to a foreign power that which is adequately explained by your own government.

I woke up this morning to learn that a bigoted internet scam-artist paid an elderly, convicted r@pist with sciatica and ulcers $20 million dollars to rough him up a bit so that people would think he was tough.
