Neat! Nice to find another canard appreciator. Velocities are cool too, but they cost as much as a house and are much more plane than I need. Also, it's fun to say that my plane is more efficient* than the average car**

I've been mocking up a new panel for the soon to be my Long EZ. I've still got some details to work out once I can take more measurements in the plane, but the tentative plan is to put in a GNX 375, G5, and GI 275, and eventually add in a GFC 500 autopilot and GDU 460 (G3XT display)

practically speaking it's going to be identical to the TSO version (which are almost $1300). still too many dollars for either in my humble opinion

I'm still smiling from this first flight :) I've already got a lot of work planned out though, so we'll see how long the honeymoon phase lasts!

super cool. I got really close to doing my sea plane rating just for the heck of it when I was living in Minnesota. never have been in a sea plane though
