A cold and clean stream running through wilderness. Along this hike I spotted many animal trials, deer or elk bedding areas, and for a section I strongly felt the eyes of a bear.

A lot of destruction has been happening lately and it will continue. Something I remind myself is that after a forest fire new opportunities for life emerge, the forest will never be quite the same, perhaps it will be a totally new ecosystem. Life will continue.
