Saw Pagliacci by the Pacific Opera Project at Heritage Square Park. Loved it. INCREDIBLE voices, amazing set design (the old auto driving the whole stage in!), tense, dramatic action, and what a location. Can't wait to see more! #opera

Saw "Oedipus the King, Mama!" by the Troubies at the Getty Villa. Combines Sophocles' tragic play... with the music of Elvis Presley. Insane, absurd, raunchy, bizarre, and funny as hell. Can't wait for more!

Candlelight jazz concert at the Biltmore DTLA. The singer, Richard Shelton, sounded exactly like Frank Sinatra, even played him in two films. You could close your eyes and it was like being right back at a real Sinatra show again. Great performance.

Forgot to even mention this but the lab result from January that made me think "hmm I better change my diet and lifestyle" turned out to be A MISTAKE. My doctor just read it wrong, I was completely fine the whole time 🙃 But it was good motivation I guess?

Dockweiler Beach was named after Isidore Dockweiler (1867-1947), a prominent Democratic politician and lawyer, in 1955. The word itself is German and means "person from Dockweiler" - a city - "Dock"'s meaning is lost but "weiler" comes from villa and means village. #losangeles #etymology

I just saw The #NakedGun. I was crying with laughter throughout. Funniest new movie I have seen in YEARS. I grew up with the originals, and this film is worthy of the title! Will be seeing it again in theaters ASAP 🦉

The Naked Gun is a movie to see in the theater just to hear different people in the audience lose their shit over different jokes. There was a row of women who completely lost their minds when the bad guy reaches out to shake hands and says "Lt. Drebin" and Drebin goes "Hey, me too!"
