Put together a multi camera, automated (ish), cross polarized, scan the void setup over the summer..still have lots of tweaking, but worked well

got DigiCamController working for both cameras. Cable management is out of control, but it looks live I've bypassed the need to run everything though the camera's memory cards.

The external field monitor gave me some of what I need, but not everything. Also still struggling with a single point of control for all of the cameras. Next step, cable management

Spent the last part of the day doing some initial, test photogrammetry capture of excavation units at the MSU Campus Archaeology Program Field School (they are excavating the remains of Michigan State University's first astronomical observatory). h/t to Stacey Camp for the photo

After an enormous amount of faffing around, I finally have the interior of the foldio lightbox completely covered in light absorbing fabric. One step closer to my Frankenstein DIY multi camera, cross polarized, scan the void, automated (ish) photogrammetry capture setup

Took a break from grading to continue futzing with my prototype Frankenstein, multi-camera photogrammetry setup. I've now got both cameras controlled by an automatic turntable and shooting properly. Just took a bunch of cables and a $25 multi-camera trigger.
