Dear friends, comrades, and loves,
pinning this photo here as an introductory note—como una forma de comenzar a conocernos.

In the alt-text I wrote some glimpses of who I am (today, a year ago), siempre tomando en cuenta que the ways in which one writes about oneself cambian de un momento a otro.

That’s the point, imho.

You can’t visit many sites on the web these days without being bombarded by ads, pop-ups, and paywalls.

We’re happy to report that there is absolutely nothing to interrupt you when you read an article on placesjournal.org. No ads, no pop-ups, no distractions. A rare luxury in online reading today.

We all feel hopeless. Sometimes it feels like it’s not possible to do anything more. But we must remember that humanity still exists. There are tens of thousands of us protesting, and together, we will not stop until Palestine is free.

Will use this illustration for the kick off of my seminar «Care is what ‘becomes’ us» at the Master of Critical Design.

This is an illustration recoloured by Attilio Mussino from Carlo Collodi’s but ok ‘The adventures of Pinocchio’ (1911); as seen in the magnificent book Support Structures.
Illustration in black and white with a bit of greens, withe the wolf, the cat and a person looking at them. The text says:

“He had gone barely half a mile when he met a lame Fox and a blind Cat, walking together like two good friends. The lame Fox leaned on the Cat, and the blind Cat let the Fox lead him along, so that no one knew who was helping whom.”
