They said he would get at least "some part" of it - who else gets a cut, and why?

Are they getting parental consent? If so, is there a way to get the word out so the parents can say no? If they aren't getting parental consent, that's yet another horrific violation of norms.

Not the biggest problem, but "Substituted the eggs for duck eggs" means the opposite of what they appear to have meant. Substituting A for B means using A instead of B.

I haven't had anyone ring or knock for a delivery in YEARS. Except when a signature is required, and not always then.

What kind of bear cub gets born in October? Obviously he's lying. NEXT

"Trump’s comments are not supported by currently available public information from authorities."

Some of that stuff will melt, I think.

Every day is Daylight Saving when you have a little child, all we ask is that you let us go to the john (this goes to "hold the pickles, hold the lettuce")

The people I know who had different reactions to the two shots are basically evenly split between the first being worse and the second being worse. (Neither of mine was different from any other shot except maybe rather more arm pain, but I seldom get much reaction to immunizations.)

I can fairly often work out a known tune from seeing the music written down, but I am honestly not sure how I do it, and I certainly couldn't "hear" any harmony (except vaguely remembering yeah, there's a growly bit there, and those sure are some low notes in the bass on the page...).

I don't do either of those things. Both visual and auditory imaginings are exceedingly vague and fuzzy. And the visual ones move around a lot, so no way could I draw them the same way I draw something in front of me.

Yeah, I mostly just shave dry where I know the hairs mostly pop up, and don't end up having to tweeze very often.

Chills are also quite common - the hot flashes thing is basically just one way one's internal thermostat can go wonky. I got a lot of joint pain and stiffness, which I am thankful to say has gotten a lot better. I only got chills a few times, but they were very dramatic.

Still missing Droste's chocolate apples (which were not apple-flavored, just broke into "apple slices" of plain dark chocolate).

We had well-off families behind us and a considerable savings cushion. We weren't living extravagantly, but we could always pay the bills. For many people these days on that budget, those things aren't true.

The year our twins were born we were making almost exactly that in today's dollars. Of course my salary then went away because the cost of daycare for two infants meant it made more sense for me to stay home. The mortgage payment we acquired a bit later would have been ~$2200 in today's dollars.

The then-CEO of Segway, not the inventor.
December 3, 2025 at 10:54 PM
If people tried to use Segways for eight bazillion things they were in no way fitted to do, you couldn't go to the grocery store without people trying to force you into one, etc.

Whaddya bet that use of Mad Max is a trademark and/or copyright infringement, too? Maybe that's what they'll actually pin Musk on, like Capone and taxes.
