The US has a lot of stake in the conflict because they sell weapons to Israel. They are an ally. They also refuse to properly condemn Israel for their war crimes so, yes, they are enabling them.

Because my point was not about Trump. It was about Biden. There's a limit to how long the posts can be, you know? I hate Trump with a passion but, again, I was talking about Biden. Ignoring his faults is childish.

We can all agree that Trump will be worse than Biden so don't take this as any form of support for the monster that is Trump but to let Biden off the hook entirely for what Israel is doing is also wrong. At the very least, he's an enabler. The US has been acting atrociously during this time.

I would be surprised if he somehow does have the self-control or self-awareness. In a normal world, this would be a sticking point but I'm guessing (possibly pessimistically) that he'll talk shit about this, people will point out the hypocrisy, and his base won't care or believe it.

Just looked this up and saw several posts on Reddit by writers sharing very similar experiences to OP. Sounds like it's been an epidemic down there for a couple of years now. :/

I'm not entirely convinced that Biden would push for a ceasefire that's beneficial for both parties (considering his track record of appeasing Netanyahu) but anyone claiming that Trump won't be a million times worse about anything is an idiot. He is an existential threat.

In a lot of ways, it's a valid question though. How is anyone surprised by this kind of stuff anymore? Lack of surprise doesn't mean lack of an emotional reaction or a reaction in general. For me, it's exhaustion, fury, and disgust but, unfortunately, not surprise.
