Nakano Broadway isn’t completely overrun with tourists yet. Always be looking for new exhibits and galleries.

Ikebukuro has some similar offerings for subculture while not as stupidly packed. There’s still a lot of curious places outside of Tokyo; don’t be afraid of the hour-plus transit.
