In his briefing, Orbán harshly attacked EU decision-makers, calling them warmongers, and stated that Brexit was one of the bravest decisions of recent years. If Hungary were as large and powerful a state as the UK, then leaving the EU would be a possibility.

In response to a question about Greenland’s future, Orbán explained that this is a dispute (!) between two NATO member states - US & Denmark - which must be resolved within the framework of NATO. When the discussion reaches that point, Hungary will formulate its position.

Regarding the Trump administration's actions in Venezuela, Orbán said that it is good for Hungary because it will lead to lower oil prices and the collapse of a narco-state. The international law is no longer the guiding principle, he added.
