I hover around 10kyu and play mostly on badukpop and occasionally ogs. Can send you connecting things for either if you'd like some correspondence games! I don't do much live games due to life lol

Then honestly I'd point people to badukpop as the app to allow for learning of basic rules, practicing life/ death puzzles, as well as bot and live/ correspondence play.

Does require a subscription to get all the features but I find it worthwhile as the puzzles are quite well written.

On ogs, there are a number of open bots to play against at different strength levels and they have varying degrees of aggressiveness!

Congrats! Looks like a tough game with the razor thin margin, trying to contain that white group as much as possible.

Not personally, mnemonics like this never quite took root for me with baduk. I tend to play more instinctive than this type of rational and measured approach. Used many mnemonics like this during medical training and they helped tremendously.

I think the main one is high quality lessons to take a total novice to intermediate levels and beyond. Ogs does have lessons but not as extensive or easy as chess.com. also ogs doesn't have the density of players like chess, baduk players are spread by language, region, etc. Ogs v kgs v panda, etc

Do you use other mnemonics for other aspects of playing baduk?

online-go.com is not nearly the equivalent but the closest we have? That or badukpop as app.

Are you trying to get into baduk or trying to get others into it?

Baduk! Not just bc I'm Korean by parents, it feels onamonapoetic like the clank of stones on a board.
