We discussed her monumental work 'Becoming Lesbian: A Queer History of Modern France', which was then followed by a workshop in which researchers from @eui-eu.bsky.social and @sns.it shared their own sources and methodological approaches to queering national histories.

A reminder to celebrate trans people and remember that they face discrimination worldwide, increasingly in countries like Hungary, which has just banned Pride! If you want to help, you can support and follow the Hungarian organisation transvanilla! (Links below)

Honored to have my work on the CWM featured by the EUI. On this 8th of March, it’s more important than ever to reflect on the radical struggles of women who fought against capitalism, fascism, racism, and colonialism—and, above all, for liberation, not just for themselves, but for all.

💬 "Women’s liberation is not a standalone issue [..] it depends on the power of collective, international resistance."

On #IWD2025 @minjabujakovic.bsky.social @eui-history.bsky.social explores the Communist Women’s Movement & its relevance to today’s #emancipation struggles.
