It took 6 days out of a 7 day ban, but finally I got it appealed. It shouldn't have taken this long, it shouldn't have happened in the first place, and I shouldn't have been denied for BS reasons on the first appeal.

Every extra minute ICE has to spend contingency planning around activists and neighbors, every extra officer ICE has to put on a kidnap squad, is a drain on their efficiency.

I hate the patriarchal, heteronormative view of everything from the fanbase. The Creator is explicitly called Them and They, and people will *still* call them a He. Which makes even less sense when the creator so often uses feminine voices

“He called you Akechi-san’s friend!” the other girl blurted out.

Ah, Ren thought a little distantly, as silence fell over the hallway.

“Which is, quite frankly, impossible,” the first girl added, flashing a nasty smile. “Why would Akechi-san want anything to do with a criminal.”

“Don’t say it like that to his face!” someone said a little too loudly for it to count as a whisper, while a boy near the head of the line mimed being stabbed.

“Not sure what everyone in this school being scared of Ren has to do with Akechi,” Ryuji said loudly. “Pretty sure you’re just all cowards.”

“You looking to start something, Sakamoto?!” someone yelled, only to be shushed, someone else hissing a warning about teachers.

Ren threw Ryuji a tired look, and got a stubborn frown in response.

And then someone—voice on the lower end, masculine, but Ren didn’t look over fast enough to catch sight of them—said, “Akechi-kun is probably pretending at friends because he knows Kamoshida only attacked him because he’s the real threat.”

Dead silence fell over the hallway, everyone trading uncertain looks.

Ren sort of wished he’d just not bothered with lunch.
