56% say Brexit was a mistake.

Only 31% think it was right.

The advice received by Kemi Badenoch shows clearly that leaving the ECHR will come at great cost. It will end at minimum all security co-operation with the EU and probably the TCA itself with all the economic implications that come from this.

At our event at Conservative conference - UK and Europe: a Shared Future, Lord Heseltine said what many now know: Brexit was a mistake. Britain’s future is with our European neighbours, not apart from them.

Dominic Grieve is right. Leaving the European Convention on Human Rights would be a reckless act of self-harm, breaking security ties, breaching international law, and weakening Britain’s standing while doing nothing to solve the problems this government pretends to fix.

Gary Neville is right that Britain once took pride in its mix of people, united by purpose not hate, but Brexit and those who profit from division have broken that spirit, and rebuilding it must begin with decency, solidarity and the will to stand together again.

Leaving the European Convention on Human Rights would be an act of self-sabotage, not independence, because the convention was forged from British ideals of justice and human dignity, written by our own lawyers in the ruins of war, to ensure that tyranny could never again take hold in Europe.

It is, be in no question, time to undo Brexit.

From January 2026, UK businesses face an £800m hit from new EU carbon rules, with costs likely passed to consumers.

The solution is simple: align UK carbon rules with the EU to cut Brexit red tape, protect businesses and stop higher prices.

The government must act now.
