💬 Does your health shape how you value social care?

In this study, Jiang et al. found:
- Poor mental health: no significant effect on ASCOT valuations
- Poor physical health: small, significant shifts in “control”, “safety” & “accommodation”

🧠 Exploring cognition bolt-ons in Japan

Igarashi et al. tested 3 EQ-5D-5L bolt-ons using cTTO data from 864 people.

🔎 Findings:
- Scaling factor model gave similar observed & predicted values
- No consistent performance difference between models

💭 Do children & adults value health differently?

Xie et al. explored this by analysing Y-5L data from adolescents and adults in Canada 👉 https://bit.ly/3VRpnX1

They found
- Adults showed more consistent preferences
- Anchoring feasible - DCE w/ duration > DCE w/ dead

Psychometric evidence for EQ-HWB & EQ-HWB-9 👇

Keetharuth et al. used data from 767 patients & 302 from general UK population.

🔎 Found:
Reliability >0.8
Good known groups validity
Good convergent validity
Broad domains didn’t reduce sensitivity
