Yorkshireman and EU citizen. Still angry about Brexit, watching with bewilderment as Labour stumble about trying to ignore the elephant in the room and the US turns to the dark side. Loving this place after abandoning Twitter… #FBPE 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇧🇪🇪🇺🚲
FIFA negotiations, they have the merit of making the Americans feel self important… 🤷‍♂️

Or they are victims of xTwitters psychological manipulation and confuse their big majority of fake followers with real people? 🤷‍♂️

Indeed I hesitated to share that, and rarely do anything that might promote xTwitter, but felt his threats against EU Civil Servants who are simply implementing the law merited flagging…🤨

The whole atmosphere there has a strong whiff of Wizard of Oz...🧞

Have you seen the price of gold recently... 😬📈

Though Musk is partially correct, he was personally responsible for the change in the blue tick policy that turned xTwitter into a swamp of spammers and scammers putting normal users at risk... 🤨

Why is anybody surprised? Its been clear for some time that MAGA's dream is US domination in the Americas, Russian domination in Europe, and Chinese domination is Asia. I suspect they have never read 1984, this will lead nowhere good... 😬

That horse bolted some time ago with #Brexit, a little late to be closing the stable door…🤷‍♂️
December 11, 2025 at 9:58 PM
The really stupid thing is none of this will appease the Faragists or win the over to Labour, all Starmer is doing is splitting the left and tarnishing his reputation…🤦‍♂️
December 10, 2025 at 11:21 PM
lol from the so called defenders of free speech! Talk about do as I say, not as I do…🤦‍♂️

What you can be sure of is that the anti immigrant crowd will be the ones screaming loudest when their pensions are delayed & cut as there aren’t enough workers to pay for them, and the ones laughing loudest will be the far right billionaires who won’t contribute a tax penny to help…🤦‍♂️
December 10, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Also a nice representation of the UK’s looming demographic disaster and why immigration is important if they want to avoid it…😬

Fascist is a bit hard, but given Labour’s failure to rollback the Tory’s anti peaceful protest and voter suppression laws, they certainly seem to be leaning that way…
December 9, 2025 at 1:52 PM
The borders aren't open this is Reform disinformation you are spouting. Brexit drives the boat crossings, the vulnerable a pulled to the UK by factors Labour fails to address. Their policies aping Reform's will do nothing to solve either of these issues...
December 9, 2025 at 12:41 PM
I think you need to remove the rose coloured spectacles, Labour have definitely shifted right, clearly they are trying to rebuild the red wall, but I think their current approach just plays into reforms hands and leaves the left field open to the Greens...
December 9, 2025 at 12:37 PM
I think it's clear who is impotent here, and it is not Europe... 🎃
December 9, 2025 at 12:27 PM
This is politics, the Greens aren’t going to attract right wing voters, and Labour’s shift to the right has created a vacuum on the left that the Greens are naturally trying to fill. So who is really helping Reform?
December 9, 2025 at 3:53 AM
I think Kevin & the Telegraph article were referring to negotiations with America & Russia, as though that is the only game in town. What they’ve lost sight of is Trump is increasingly turning America into an irrelevance. Zelensky is doing a FIFA on him, while the real action is with EU partners…
December 9, 2025 at 3:02 AM
One might say the same about Trump’s 2nd term. Naysayers purged, cockadoodle world view, cost benefit calculations out of the window…
December 8, 2025 at 11:08 PM
And nobody does more magical thinking than the Torygraph, except perhaps the Daily Fail…🤦‍♂️
December 8, 2025 at 10:33 PM
Brits demonstrating once again they understand nothing about how the EU works. It’s the big member states jealously protecting their diplomatic sovereignty that ensures that Europe doesn’t have a place at the negotiating table. Just look who was meeting in London…🤷‍♂️
December 8, 2025 at 10:32 PM
I didn’t say you were, I said those liking your pro Russian posts are… 🤷‍♂️
