I mourn not just for a real human individual with a soul full of light. In the midst of this maddening darkness at the door. We have to keep our eyes on the light and the good that we are meant to be.
There was something so beautiful about this moment in front of the Naval Memorial when President Carter was transferred to the horse-drawn caisson with the setting sun shining through over his casket.
