This Art Nouveau cake stand was a great find in France. I've been experimenting with how to display it with decor

From our 3 day weekend in France. Got home this evening, after spending 2 nights there with friends. Exhausted from 3 days of walking around French flea markets but so fun. I set this large light on our bench, to assess if it will look ok in the ceiling light space

Today's Erbach Flohmarkt finds. This is a special Hutschenreuther collectible series of porcelain coasters. Made exclusively in our region, for notable trees in the Odenwald (Germany) . We haven't yet researched this series (I'll post when I do). We paid €20 for 10. Duplicate years are stacked.

Today's Erbach Flohmarkt finds. White table runner (€1) under the antique Sarreguemines soap dish. I've never seen this series (Lima? *lima?). Paid a ridiculous low price of €2. We're certain the seller had no clue what its value was. She had some cheap black pearl necklace nearly filling it.

Guest bedroom rose sheets for 5€, at Viernheim Flohmarkt. Washed them with a special enzyme soap, borax, washing powder and 90C temp water. Every other item in this room was sourced from flea markets, antique shops, etc., used and very inexpensive. The bedframe was free. Will replace in the future.

Sarreguemines Royat plates (2). They're kind of a cross between dinner and dessert plates in size. We found these a real prize - they're in excellent condition (no chips or cracks, but typical crazing is evident on the underside), both for 12€ total at the Viernheim, Germany flea market.

Im not sure what this was originally affixed to, possibly furniture, but may use it as a decorative part of a door. I'll be removing the paint. I believe it's brass. Got it for 2€ at the Gernsheim, Germany flea market.

We went to 2 flea markets last Sunday, in Germany. Gernsheim and Viernheim. This tin mirror frame is only 1 of many items. We paid €15 but I'm sure this cost well over €100 new, if not €200 or more! This right picture is my growing tin/zinc/pewter collection, all flea market vintage or antique

Someone should grab this prayer chair at that price! It's Gründerzeit (mid 1800s). If I were a reseller, I'd grab it. www.kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/be...

I'm not into celebrating or observing the holiday. But it sure is fun to decorate with nearly all thrift store finds. I painted the bird planter (used to be allowed gray).

Got this original oil painting for 15€ at the Gernsheim, Germany flea market today. My husband got several wood working tools for only 20€, worth well over 100€ (no pics of those). Great deals!

Today's makeover. We got this beautiful woman bronze-look bust piece, at a French flea market a few years ago. Every season I decorate her in ribbons of that season. I got these inexpensive Easter decor ribbons at Aldi. I'm switching her from winter ribbons to Easter spring ribbons.
