It is also good to see, finally, a promised future increase in fuel duty to encourage more drivers across to electric. But even with that, a Pay per Mile scheme in two years is unnecessarily rocking the boat at such a pivotal point for the market.

Today’s #Budget delivered some welcome steps forward for the UK’s #EV transition.
But it also raised serious concerns about the road ahead.

It was our Steve John’s turn to meet with gillnowell.bsky.social at the first checkpoint at #Fishguard Fort in #Pembrokeshire on day 2 of the #evrally #cymru with transport for wales & Greenfleet #collaboration. Also grabbing a pic with FSEW showing even the big stuff is electric these days.

We caught up with the EV Rally Cymru again at day-1 checkpoint 4 Blaenau Festiniog hydro-electric power station, with a viewpoint at Stwlan dam. Amazing views, and amazing EVs like the FSEW Truck which made the 200m climb to the dam! #evrally #cymru #collaboration
