Did you ever see Glass Gem corn? Yes, these are natural colors from real corn! 🌈🌽 This variety was selected in the 80s by a farmer in Oklahoma, who crossed ancestral breeds. My aunt has grown this variety, and though you can ear it as popcorn 🍿, I instead made earrings out of the jewel-like seeds!

🌿 We need to raise the profile of #bryophyte ecological research 🌿 (and also a bryophyte emoji!)

In this opinion piece, we as a group of #ECRs outline barriers in bryophyte research and provide recommendations to overcome them across institutional levels & disciplines.
