i won’t set huge goals this year as i’m trying to find the right balance between my new life/work and language learning!!! hopefully i’ll meet these goals and exceed them, but if that doesn’t happen, it’s okay too!!! what i know is i’m definitely going to get down to business 👩🏻‍💻

i want to take it easy… my only -actual- goal is to know the alphabet by the end of the year…… that would be more than enough!! 👀🤣

specific goals:

🇺🇦 1- refocus; find out what’s working and what isn’t and create a new plan from there

🇺🇦 2- start from the beginning and start building from 0

🇺🇦 3- be consistent!!!!

i think my approach to this language is not right, so i keep losing motivation :( i’ve barely made any progress so THAT’S ANOTHER CHANGE THAT NEEDS TO HAPPEN 😾

specific goals:

🇵🇹 1- speed run the basics; i need to start speaking asap and improve from there!! i’m giving myself until jan 31st

🇵🇹 2- from february on, i’ll start booking lessons on italki too. i’m not sure how i’ll approach them yet, but the booking deadline is jan 31st 🙌🏼

that trip i was planning last year didn’t happen (problems with timing…), so it’ll HOPEFULLY happen this year 🤞🏼 also— i’m planning to do a volunteering “trip” in summer in portugal too!! idk how but ONE WAY OR ANOTHER i’m going to portugal this year uh 💀🤣

also— i’ve never felt truly comfortable enough to speak in mandarin cause i was not confident in my basics… so i’m STARTING OVER 😤

specific goals:

🇨🇳 1- go through that udemy course i act like i don’t remember i bought AND PUT IN THE WORK

my poor neglected child 😭 i’ve focused so much on teaching both english and spanish these last couple years + improving my french because i was moving that i’ve barely touched it 😭😭 AND THIS ALSO NEEDS TO CHANGE!!!!

specific goals:

🇫🇷 1- fully review the b2 level before february the 28th + get comfortable with the vocab/grammar included up until there

🇫🇷 2- choose a topic per month and book (at least) a monthly italki lesson to discuss it

🇫🇷 3- take c1 in october 😾

🇫🇷 4- SPEAK!!!

i live in france but funnily enough i do NOT speak french every day 🥲 most of my friends are foreigners + i never join any activities or take trips/visit places in which i could meet people… and that NEEDS TO CHANGE 🗣️🗣️ I NEED MY ENERGY BACK

my main goal is definitely just getting back into studying languages as much as i used to!!! having a couple new jobs and moving countries have definitely distracted me SO much and i really need to refocus 💆🏻‍♀️
