Many of the biggest challenges seniors face are also the easiest for us to solve if we notice.

Heart of the Valley offers free wheelchairs, walkers, and incontinence supplies to seniors in need.

Call (408) 241-1571 if you or someone you know could use a hand.

Took a break from my usual pace this summer and slowed down with a trip through #Britain.

Wandered into unplanned stops: Balmoral, Highland cows, even an open-top bus in #London (and the best scone… on a plane!).

Not everything needs to be planned to be meaningful.

Happy #FourthOfJuly.

This holiday is always a mix of celebration and reflection for me.

I think about the communities I’ve worked with and how #independence looks different for everyone.

I wish you a safe, restful holiday and a moment to reflect on the #freedoms that matter most to you.

Mantras get a bad rap but in #leadership and life, we’re constantly processing inputs.
A good #mantra helps you filter that noise and respond with intention.

I choose the lens that keeps me focused, kind, and forward-moving. Find the framing that works for you.

I spent time at our #ElkGrove sites and left smiling.

Between the welcome sign and the “summer vision” wall, it was clear how much thought and care go into these programs.

Thanks to everyone who made the visit meaningful. It’s always great to see the work up close.

Everyone's story is different. Some have present, loving dads. Some are navigating loss, absence, or complicated relationships. Some are supported by figures who don’t share the title. There’s no one way to experience this day.

Let’s keep showing up with care and compassion.

Play isn’t a break from learning; it is learning.
On #InternationalDayOfPlay, let’s remember that kids need space to explore, take risks, and be themselves.
Protecting time for play means investing in who they’re becoming.

I visited several #CatalystKids sites in the Bay Area recently and left proud, as always, of the teams and what we are building for the communities and the children.

It’s a privilege to spend time with them, ask real questions, and see what strong programs look like in action.

If you're working in #EarlyEducation or leading those who do, Theories of Childhood by Carol Garhart Mooney is worth your shelf space.

Clear, practical, and grounded in real-world insight.

Visited one of our #SeasonalMigrant sites and walked into a room full of music and care.

Two staff members were singing to a group of little ones, creating calm, connection, and comfort through something as simple as song.

This is #EarlyEd at its best. #Leadership #CommunityImpact

Visited our Seasonal Migrant program sites and left deeply inspired.

These seasonal programs are full of joy, care, and educators who show up with heart. #Accessibility matters, and so does how we deliver it.

Let’s build models that move with students.

Inflation is hitting families and child care providers.

At Catalyst, we’re facing the exact rising costs, and still showing up for teachers, staff, and the families who rely on us.

When we support care providers, we help every child they serve.

Remembering those who gave everything in service to this country.

I'm grateful for those who’ve shown us what true service looks like.

Generations by Jean Twenge is a standout.

Clear, data-driven, and refreshingly free of clichés. If you lead across age groups or just want a sharper lens on generational shifts, this one’s worth your time.

Another look at the incredible teams I had the chance to visit in Oxnard and Ventura.

Not all the work is flashy, but it's all important. We're building environments where kids learn, grow, and feel safe.

I am so proud of the care and #commitment. Thank you for making it happen!

More from my visit to our Oxnard and Ventura programs.

I loved this moment! Learning happens even during lunch!

Our team does an incredible job creating spaces where kids can thrive every moment.

Back from visiting our teams in Oxnard and Ventura, I have a lot of appreciation. There’s something special about seeing early education in action. Sometimes it's easy to miss from the outside.

Huge thanks to the staff and site leaders who welcomed me so warmly!

Ginger Lapid-Bogda's The Enneagram Development Guide is one of the best #Enneagram resources. I revisit it frequently.

It’s packed with type-specific tools that help you #grow. Great for #leaders, coaches, and anyone aiming for intentional growth.

This week, and every week, I’m grateful to all the educators I've been blessed to work with.

Teachers do so much more than teach. They build trust. They create safety. They help young people see what’s possible.

Let’s make sure we see them too.

#MentoringMonday is a good example of what works: direct conversations, real questions, and shared experiences.

I’ve learned a lot by mentoring, just as much by being mentored. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to support someone else’s path.

Couldn’t make it to the San Jose Giants game, but loved seeing Heart of the Valley volunteers and supporters come together. A new volunteer even joined us. That’s the power of engagement.

Proud to serve on a board that builds community across generations.
