It's a shame Bluesky doesn't offer private accounts like the old rwitter did. Especially one where you can decide who sees your stuff. Until then, I've decided to limit what I say on here. The Internet is not safe, but a degree of privacy might allow a better user experience for me rn

It's happened to me a few times but hopefully it is rare in general. Some restaurants seal their bags, which is how I knew mine had been tampered with. but not everyone d9es this. I'm just extra wary now after what has happened

I went to a smi health check recently. the person who was evaluating me had on a mask. He told me not to worry, it wasn't covid. I asked him if it was covid, would they still expect him to work? I was surprised when he nodded his head. It was only five years ago ppl were expected to isolate!

On a day like today, I might consider a takeaway for dinner, but the last time I used ubereats, the driver had his hands in my food. Some1 also posted a video today on insta of a delivery driver drinking a drink before trying to deliver it.

Might be better to see what's in the freezer to airfry...

Just another indication of how soulless and devoid of passion many people seem to live out their lives

Resting on the sofa with my heat pad and weighted blanket. Not long getting back from a yoga session. I'm here feeling mad at a loved one tho as they told me they were sick, then ghosted me for over a week. Apparently, they didn't want to worry me (??!). I don't know what to do with them anymore

Just getting back from one myself. Hope yours was as restorative as mine

For me, it's an accessible art form. Learning about a whole new skill, which is always very exciting and frustrating too 😅

Exhausting day, so I wasn't sure I was going to be able to join my friends art group. I made it tho and had a lovely time making art with her and the others. She has a great taste in music, so we listened to her tunes and made our own art together, and shared our progress. I feel re-energised now

When my apron goes on, I mean business. Gelli printing is a messy process. Maybe it'll always be like this as I learn and experiment.

Waiting for the paint to dry on my learner plate. I've used orange as a 'ghost' print and purple/teal for the final layer. No space on desk for multi plates..🧡🩵💜

Now is the time to set up some watercolours and monoprints to rework while I'm away from home. I have the best Gelli plate prints for my self-portrait, but I'm scared to destroy them lol. Keen to develop my watercolour skills, so want to sketch out some stuff to watercolour too.

Ah you're such a joy, what a lovely message to read! I appreciate your support and nature/garden/meow updates. Thanks for being here 🍂🍂

What a description. I can certainly relate to this and it often coincides with my birthday, which is at the end of summer/beginning of autumn. It can intensify when the light fades too early, it's all grey and the weather is sh××.I hope you're able to find some small joys and go gently on yourself

Finally finished Demon Copperhead last week. Whew - what a book! If I say anything, it might spoil it for future readers, but I'm a new fan of Kingsolver. The history facts were good to learn. I have Flight Behaviour 2, but taking a break from the heavy tearjerkers to read Lonely Londoners #booksky
Staring into space - POV: when you just finish that book and now you just sit there processing your emotions

Hugs, spring/summer are definitely seasons to be mourned

Yeh, it is sad. I felt sad 2, but now I'm enjoying the longer nights to walk in. I'm also enjoying lighting scented candles, mood lighting, evening baths, and getting all cosy/snug. I love the summer and spring, but I also love that the seasons change and finding things to enjoy again.

The season will change again before we know it..

Every year, I cringe at the pictures. I know people love and enjoy matching at Christmas but it doesn't make much sense to me 😅

Can't even say what's on my mind without a bunch of strangers coming in to weigh in. I've never given much care to strangers opinion of me but I'm not always talking to strangers like I am on here. A few I connect with and a whole world of people I don't connect with at the same time

What's the point behind this comment? Should Greta have complete control of everyone who wants and wanted to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza?
