No, but Canadian polling firms are good at what they do. It's a singular poll, but it's not invalid due to timing.

This news filtered quick. Enough Canadians knew about it before they polled that makes this one still valid.

This was done after Trudeau announced his resignation.

It's bound to have its ups and downs tbh

Tank pretty quickly after winning. Provinces like BC under Eby will defend trans people and the LPC headed by a leader that isn't past their due date & a good platform should be able to win federally. We shouldn't be on this path to begin with, but I don't think we'll be on it for very long.

Despite who we will most likely elect as PM next year, I do think that long term Canada will be the outlier as long as the LPC gets their shit together. We're more solidly a left of centre country than others and Pierre isn't actually that liked. I do believe his popularity will....

We follow each other on Twitter. Im_Axion over there.

Yeah them losing those was a surprise and they should be able to get them back.

If the Kelowna Centre result is a trend and not a one off, that's another seat they could pick up next time too. I hope they keep Wooldridge as their candidate.

Imo he's got a fairly decent shot at winning again in 2028 too if they keep focusing on getting more housing built & can hire a bunch of healthcare staff. There are other issues that need solving too, but if housing/rent costs drop & ERs arent closing anymore, he'll have solved two massive problems.

Fluoride conspiracies already exist here but they're likely to go crazy if the US follows through with this.

Won't be the only thing either. Get ready for likely numerous conspiracy stuff to spill over and grow here over the next few years.

I personally don't use it a whole lot but anytime I open it there's quite a lot of posts and interactions going on. The mobile app is leagues better than Twitter and Blue sky's too tbh.

275M monthly active users as of the beginning of the month apparently.
The accounts are linked but you still have to actually set up the Threads account when you download the app, it's not automatic. You can choose to have separate bios and stuff or just duplicate them.

Something wild like Threads shutting down would have to happen for users to jump that high in such a short time.
November 14, 2024 at 2:25 AM
It's slowly but surely getting there and the team seems committed to not allowing it to turn into a cesspool which is good.

It's so incredibly over for BCU save for a miracle.

This would be a very interesting legislature lol

Even if this is a wild outlier, the BC Liberals complete and utter collapse is wild.
