They're absolutely going for camp, and I appreciate that. It's a brilliant movie in the unsung "Meticulously planned murders with a unified theme" subgenre that Seven kinda sucked all the fun out of.

He is, BUT he didn't have to do that thing with his hand.

So it's more of a delivery choice.

I love it other than a super-unfortunate word choice in that very scene.
