I’m only poking at the fact that car ownership is far more expensive than the electricity to run it. I don’t question your math - just that buying that car, insuring it, licensing it etc all is in the calculus.

I do think the bolt comp is misleading. I mean a 30mpg car is only $60ish round trip.
I’m not sure what the cost per mile is on electric - but the $0.50/mi or more rate would call the round trip at least $200 in a car.
