I wouldn't recommend making a 3D game in gamemaker if your intention is to only make a 3D game, but it is a fun and challenging project to do, I do recommend every GM dev try it at least once

It has challenges; you have to define everything that happens in a Z axis, as GM only has built-in control for X and Y. GM doesnt have a native model importer so you have to find or make your own, but does have vertex buffers that speed up the computation of tris.

No official support, but does have the ability to do 3D
Its a lot of "Do it yourself", this uses a lot of libraries from smarter people than myself
