Seriously though, MAHA ads must be a sign of the apocalypse. Pestilence doing their thing.

Not to mention the WRs. Every one of the guys on our roster week 1 missed time, only Deebo came anywhere close to a full, healthy season. Losing our RB1 Eckler week 1 didn't help either. OL was about the only bright spot of the season really, which is nice for the future.

Whitt was inevitable after the defense went from putrid to signs of respectability when DQ took over playcalling. Not a total shock, but Kliff is more of a surprise. Don't think he was the problem and I don't think it's going to be as easy to find a better OC

A little surprised here. Don't really think Kliff was the problem this year and he seemed to have a good relationship with Jayden. Not sure he's a top offensive mind, but not a lock we'll find better. Hope they have someone in mind that they really like if they are moving on

Yeah no way he stuck around after the D looked so much better with DQ calling plays. We have talent issues to begin with and a ton of injuries to key players didn't help, but the difference in playcallers was pretty stark

Does Elon Musk contribute 6x the value that the bottom 50% earning households do? How about we have him take a month off followed by that bottom 50% of earners taking a month off and see what has a bigger impact.

I'd argue that the Justices who ruled over a century ago in Dodge v Ford that public companies are obligated to prioritize shareholder value above all else did more damage. I think that was the inflection point that sent corruption, wealth gap, and general enshitification snowballing.

Article mentions how much more expensive aluminum is compared to glass today, I'd also worry about that gap skyrocketing if more industries take to aluminum as the packaging material of choice. Especially with tariffs already looking to increase the cost of aluminum.

IDK if you can get enough breweries to move over to the email updates quick enough to make it a viable competitor. I also don't know if enough people are sick of social media to use that as an alternative. I hope so, but I don't know

I want to believe, but it's definitely going to be a tough transition. I reluctantly signed up for Instagram years ago solely to follow breweries for release info/announcements. Tough to beat the convenience of having it all in one spot like that

Absolutely braindead move by Texas. Can't have a bidding war of political contributions between ranchers and lab meat companies if they can't sell their product. Real short sighted.

I think it's fair to say Hegseth has met the expectations most of us had when he was nominated.

I know draft Day reactions are always going to be a laugh in hindsight, but man does it feel like AP and co are killing it. Definitely never felt this way in the Rivera era.

First two picks would have been called a pipe dream in any mock draft. Love this.

Love it

Or maybe not lying, but testing the waters to see if it drums up enough support to replace Hegseth while hedging with the play against NPR if it doesn't.

Alternative tinfoil hat theory: the NPR source was lying and this whole thing is an effort to discredit and stir up hate against NPR.

Yeah first I remember hearing turtle heading was from Fat Bastard in Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me, which came out in 1999.

Seems this is forcing transparency when companies use algorithmic pricing but not eliminating it. Except where it pertains to protected classes, that would be eliminated. Definitely a net positive and good step either way.

Plenty of situations where holding or illegal contact won't turn into a DPI. 3rd and long receiver is on a deeper route, mess with him early enough in the route before the QB can throw and even if it doesn't get called and the ball goes his way, chances of getting a first are much lower.
April 1, 2025 at 2:23 PM
Good. No automatic first downs would incentivize holding in a lot of situations, and the game would be worse for it. I get the "NFL hates defense" stuff, but that was a bad idea, or at least a bad implementation. There needs to be situations where the ref can still grant the first down.
