Too little too late is the truth. What ever the reasons prices go up, supply chain, climate factors, disease, political strife or ridiculous tariffs, they are never brought down significantly. That’s capitalism/greed!

That means universal daycare, free school lunches and after school programs, increase in minimum wage and other measures to provide a better chance for working Americans to live the “dream”.

Dems will benefit from Trump’s debacles but they also need to stop letting the right define them. Most dems are moderate. That doesn’t mean they don’t personally advocate for LGBTQ rights, woman’s rights, immigration reform and other social issues but it’s the economy stupid for them too!

The only people who can stop this is Congress and MAGA supporters. Not doing anything to stop it, even if it is just speaking up, is condoning it. It makes it clear to me that there truly is something lacking, their consciences.

What Hilary said about the basket of deplorables was more prophetic than I ever envisioned. The big deplorables are the people who are caving to the administration that don’t have too. Universities, news organizations, media companies and tech giants, so self serving and at the same time weak.

Nancy Mace suggested ibuprofen as an alternative to acetaminophen without the caveat that ibuprofen is not to be taken during pregnancy and without mentioning that NSAIDS can cause GI bleeding and kidney dysfunction. Maybe have a medical expert if you are going to allow medical advice to be shared.

This reminds me of what is happened in the GOP party. Kamala didn’t invent the process of ignoring the obvious for self preservation but it changes people and the way they are perceived and received. In my mind her political life is over and that’s to bad. Reality bites but so does pretense.

There is a black female head of Democratic Party. I see no ability and limited effort to rally the registered non-voters. Not blaming but apathy has been ever increasing since Obama’s first election. People can’t imagine how Trump and MAGA has disenfranchised some areas of the Country.

The problem is a high percentage of registered democrats do not vote. You can’t blame that on gerrymandering. In rural Texas where everyone knows your name, I have voted democrat for 30 years. It’s a lonely endeavor.

For Texas? No because redistricting is not supposed to to be taken up until 2030. Have I seen other states possible answer to the underhanded attempt to gerrymander 5 Texas house seats for Trump in 2026? Yes I have. It is the needed response for GOP treachery.
