Writing my thoughts takes effort. Words are clumsy and difficult. They’re not very good at capturing the “shape” of intention or sentiment. If I soften the language, it loses power. I often decide it’s not worth the fuss.

First time I watched #VioletEvergarden, I misunderstood and went the entire show thinking Violet was a terminator. I.e. she actually WAS the robot girl trope.

I’m still not convinced the show wouldn’t have been a bit improved by that change.
