I am aware you do, because you actually know what you're talking about regarding the problems of Spotify, but I'm giving here my argument that I say to people who won't give up Spotify.

A physical collection doesn't excuse use of a virtual algorithm, especially when discussions with humans regarding music will yield the same or better recommendations. The Spotify algorithm will recommend what is most profitable for them, and will omit music that isnt necessarily built for streaming

It's insane how many people say they can't live without Spotify and yet somehow ignore the 8,742 ways you can live without Spotify. Crazy the lengths people will go to in order to defend the worst of the industry
