without release hype I really am able to appreciate this game 20 time more than before. and the music still makes me tear up constantly, even at the first use of the a life sent on motif.

The start of chapter one is so fucking good. Noah is used to so well to align with the viewer's knowledge that the world is wrong and the first chapters just nails that solemn melancholy so fucking well. the amount of time i stood around taking it in yesterday was very high

bad news (or good news) I wanna flesh out all of this into a story and release it on ao3 as an exposure therapy solution for my fear of writing dialogue. i am feeling like a sicko too so this is the perfect thing to expand on.

An incredible GL manga that I have not been able to stop thinking about. It’s fairly short but such a heart wrenching experience covering shared trauma between family as well as two broken people finding security in each other. I especially love how eyes are used narratively.

You’d be better off with a decor mod that doesn’t render all that as entities

Reducing lag is essentially cutting down on chests, signs, ESPECIALLY ARMOR STANDS, shulkers, item frames, and banners and doing non entities like Barrels

Another fun fact is that if you use glow ink on a sign it gets laggiar, cause to make it thicker and glow, they process the text 8 additional times instead of just saving a different font in the files.

I actually know this! Because it’s rendering block entities, the more complicated the pattern the more it processes the banner to display it (since there isn’t every possible pattern saved as a texture) I can explain in detail in DMs since I’m studying mc lag to help a server
