When it's not because the author is trying to explore science/tech/the future in some way, it's often because they need to level the playing field somehow. They need a way to create the conditions for their dystopian society and often this requires technology or events that sweep the board clean.

Which is nearly everyone. The way these people think they can like lock in a generation is ridiculous. Even if all of Gen Z goes fash, their kids will push back. Especially as the margin of tolerance narrows.

I finally got around to trying the demo! It's amazing seeing so much of my work in a cohesive game! I loved the dialogue, the minigames, and the design of the city. Can't wait for full release!

I sincerely think the 4-6 months of winter that many Canadians experience should be a SLOW DOWN period where business hours are shorter, work requirements are lighter, and we don't need to drive so much or ignore that it's cold enough outside to kill you. It's icy outside enough to kill your family.

I joined derby in August and I was recruited at Pride. At least locally, yeah, they league and members are very inclusive and supportive and I've got no complaints. I'm far from the only trans or otherwise gender non-conforming player.
