So yeah, apparently I'm cool with isekai as long as it doesn't spoon-feed me the backstory of side characters via exposition in chapter three from the MC, like this does.

Character dynamics were alright, art fluctuated between wow and meh, and the story was predictable with a lot of volume one spent on pretty intrusive exposition. Not much to latch one to, so might give it another volume to decide.

If Miruru has a million fans, I'm one of them
If Miruru has no fans, I'm dead
Really enjoyed the slow pacing and focus on establishing the cast! Art is kinda plain but Akagawara's comedic faces top notch. Once more volumes are out this is an easy recommendation.

I really loved this! Linhua is an absolute delight. Didn't love how the last two chapters felt very uneven, especially with an over reliance on exposition dumps and Souren's characterization being tied to a short story in the back.

Okay, I'm in. This was a great set of chapters and really sold me on the entire thing, especially since I was kinda lukewarm on the first volume. The constant tug-of-war between two traumatized kids trying to understand each other is very compelling.

I'm in love with the art. Unfortunately, it only has 13 chapters and I think the author has health issues, but I'm excited about where the story is headed. The entire cast is a delight so far.

The translation was...rough, but I still enjoyed it a lot. Really hope once the anime comes out somebody picks up the license, because I'd love to revisit it. Will most definitely keep up with it.

Penacony overall was very mid with a great setup, the Wardance was great, Rappa was insufferable, and 2.7 was meandering with some emotional highs. 2.x is also where they started giving everybody an unnecessarily tragic backstory to the detriment of the game imo.

Gorgeous art! Was kinda meh at first but by chapter four was really digging it, especially Koyou. I love her a lot. The emphasis on surgery is a breath of fresh air from the typical apothecaries.

Tried going out of my comfort zone and trying out a bunch of romcom shojo (usually stick to fantasy/mystery/supernatural these days). It was...alright? I didn't hate it, was a quick, easy read and love Ranko, will probably pick up vol 2.
