Silent Hill 2 brought a story twist that forever changed the way I looked at games. When a game lies to you the whole way through and then slams the truth in your face right at the end, you develop a taste for red flags. The remake was fucking stunning, and the original was iconic. 💕

The first of the franchise that I played in it's entirety. Final Fantasy VIII led to me experiencing my favorite game of all time, creating a friendship that has lasted well over twenty years, and it was one of my first introductions to resisting tyranny in the form of the Forest Owls.
