I said at the time that this was one of the craziest appointments in many a year. As Ange-ball lurches from crisis to crisis it seems the #NFFC fans have had enough already. #Postecoglu.

One of the most bat-shit appointments I can remember. He may have won Spurs a trophy but he was an absolute disaster in the league. To get another PL job so soon is just crazy. It won't end well because he doesn't sound like he's learnt anything from his time at #Spurs. #Postecoglu #NFFC

We didn’t quite get the RB we needed but overall I’d say that’s a very solid transfer window for #Everton. We have a squad that could start making inroads into the top ten of the premier league. After years of austerity it looks like #EFC can start looking up the table again.

If you were to use one word to describe James Garner I think it would be underrated. So vital to our team. Right back, left back, central mid. He just slots in and always gives a solid performance. Model professional. Proper team player. Goes under the radar a lot but a managers dream. #EFC #Everton

Tyler Dibling seems like the right signing at the right time for #Everton. He’s young, skilful, exciting with a very high bar of potential. The type of signing that says that we’re going places. I think the fans are gonna really warm to him. Can’t wait to see him step out at HD Stadium. #EFC

Jack Grealish may be the shiny new toy but this guy is the real MVP for #Everton. Still beggars belief that we got him for only £15 million. Every time he gets the ball he takes players on, makes something happen. And he weeks so hard tracking back too. He’s already a hero to the #EFC fans.

Jack Grealish is a statement signing for #Everton. One that says we’re over the PSR era and into a new era of optimism and growth. He is a signing we’d never have made under Benetiez/Lampard/Dyche. Ignore the sour grapes. He may work he may not. But he’s definitely a step in the right direction #EFC

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to #EFC has the potential to be a brilliant signing. Just the right type of player. Good age, knows the league, technically gifted, plays with his head up and has a keen eye for a pass. Good link up play. Needs to add more goals to his game but a really shrewd move by #Everton.

Many reasons why #Everton are struggling to get players in. But 2 big ones are;
1. Clubs know we needs players so prices are going up.
2. We’re now going for a better quality of player and they come with competition from other clubs.
We will get players in but we have to be patient #EFC

It was probably the right time for all parties to move on. But DCL goes with, I’m sure, the best wishes of all #Everton fans. He scored some vital goals for us, none more so than against Palace in 2022. Injuries derailed his career but still a decent striker at his best. Good luck DCL!

The new home shirt is very bland but that collar redeems it.
But that price. Oh my god that price 😮. I think I’ll just wait until the mid season price drop.
Brownie points for being able to buy it without that infernal sponsor. #Everton

Good grief. Talk about a tale of two halves. Things really were grim under Dyche. The contrast between the optimism under Moyes to the negativity under Dyche is like day and night. It’s no exaggeration to suggest Moyes saved #Everton from oblivion. I really believe we were going down.
