Wonder if Liverpool don’t want him back, whether we might be tempted to renegotiate Harvey Elliott’s loan to remove the compulsory purchase. Essentially he can only go MLS or China in Jan if Liv don’t take him.

I cannot imagine what it must be like to be a young Villa fan who started supporting in the Champ or after we got promoted.
Football must seem like an endless upward trajectory to them. That generation of fans have had so many highs and so few actual lows that it must be almost normal now.

I know that they’re struggling a little currently but I have no expectation at all that we’ll beat them because we will have to rest key players.
