I think it would be more useful encouraging former GOP voters to organize for a general strike and other direct action. Rather than just voting Democrat in the 2026 midterms (if we even have them). Dems have shown to just be GOP-lite. They have similar donors.

Unless we have a general strike or other direct action. In my opinion, the economy. Especially the tourism economy will never recover. Also, the World Cup will be partially in the U.S. in the about 6 months. As well as the 2028 LA Summer Olympics.

Politician donors aren't going to let them regulate AI. Get us progressive UBI. Single payer healthcare, etc. It's probably going to take a general strike and/or direct action. When the U.S. was founded, only land owning white men could vote. Progress can happen.

Morale may be low. But why I am really hoping for a general strike: The George W. Bush administration did a lot of illegal stuff. But when Dems got to power, didn't do anything much. And after Dems got to power in 2021, they also didn't do anything much. Blue Waves waste of time.

For the first time today, started doing online dating. Made profiles on Tinder, Match and Bumble. Got a couple of likes so far. But have to subscribe to see who gave them. I don't want to give them money.

It's possible Indiana and Ohio State play again in the playoffs. Rematches are interesting. Oregon beat Ohio State in the last year's regular season. Then Ohio State beat them in the playoffs. As long as a B1G team wins the national championship again this year that's all I'm asking.

While December has been and looks like it will be really cloudy for the rest of the month. I am hoping there will be some clear night skies in January. Very excited to possibly meet internet friends over zoom. See ones I've already met, etc. With a remote telescope star party!

When I post instagram stories and check who saw them. A lot of the time it's people I grew up with. But they otherwise don't engage with other social media of mine. Idk what to take from that. Obviously they didn't block me. But are they just lurking? Gossiping?

I mean. If some days I wasn't so sluggish or sleep deprived. Where feel a lot more comfortable driving. I wouldn't mind staying in Northwest Ohio. Could do online dating. And have dates at the Toledo Museum of Art. Toledo Zoo. Cedar Point. Hayes Center, etc. Need walkable/transit

Just to get out of the house during the week. And possibly meet new people. Either will multi camera angle and direct audio line live stream. Or just attend this event. I have worked with this speaker before. So pretty sure he is cool with it. Glad it's history and not politics.

Tho I don't drink. Might try to get a group together at a local bar next weekend. Just to get out and socialize more if can't have a telescope star party cuz of clouds. That or get lunch or Saturday night Dennys with a friend I have been since mid 2024.

Tho I found some rooms I can rent within my budget in LA County. Just thinking if my health insurance premium or that rent goes up in price. Eventually I probably won't be able to afford it. So thinking unless on visits, just stay in Northwest, Ohio.

My current meds are interesting. For sure not the most sedate I have been. But still catch myself spacing out or getting sluggish/fatigued. It's interesting because I guess being less sedate makes me more likeable. But at the same time come off unintentionally as aloof. Hate it.

Trying to catch some daylight. And not needing cleats to walk outside if slick. This wardrobe keeping me warm. But by February and March will probably walk indoors cuz sick of the cold

I mean I'm not the biggest Oasis fan. But enjoyed that they played my favorite song of theirs, "Slide Away" during the Michigan-Ohio State game this year on TV.

Tho technically still Fall for another few weeks or so. Forecasted today, tomorrow and in the next week or two to get a lot of snow. For sure not planning on going out. But can always relearn a bunch of original songs I've forgotten. And if night sky clear, remote star parties
