My bad then...

Pretty sure it's only one more year. And the reason would be to make a statement to Ange and the squad and give everyone some clarity.

Agreed. The last thing we want now is flip-flopping and uncertainty. If Ange and the players are in limbo at the beginning of next season, the likehood off it spiralling quickly are massively increased. Make a decision Levy.

Gedankenspiel:

You're probably right that it won't get that long.

Maybe actually a reason he feels less able to blend players into the team like you've suggested.

Personally I felt and feel like Spence should have started today, but look what happens when Kulu finally gets a rest.

This project really needs another 18 months before it can be judged, but again...

aren't, we were never going to be there by now. And we've made progress in the cups, which is great, but we're not dealing with the extra games well.

And yes, Ange probably could and should have mitigated that with more rotation, but I think the lack of training time through all the games is...

Yes, but no. As others have said, we're in the middle of rebuilding, not at the end of it. The squad isn't there and mistakes were made in the summer, but we're were at a point 18 months ago where a complete overhaul was needed. Even with the most spendthrift owners in the world, which ENIC clearly

Raya (who I have and am keeping) or Verbruggen. Not sure if Kepa may be an option, haven't really explored that. Sels too, certainly.

Not primarily an fpl account but I play and enjoy the game (most weeks, not when my triple spurs including Solanke captain blank) and I'm active in a few discords.

Assuming no cup wins.

Obviously, if the perfect alternative were suddenly available next summer (whoever that might be) we should think about it, but atm we're still moving on the right direction, even if it is 3 steps forward, 2 steps back.

Doing a decent job of dealing with european football, though the Spencer thing was obviously a bad decision, even without hindsight.

Personally I feel he needs this season, next summer and at least the first few months of next season before saving him should even be on the table. And that is...

I can't disagree that this lots was on him and he seems to be making a few too many bad decisions, but on the other hand he's been in the job for less than 18 months, he's had to completely rebuild the club and the club has obviously spent money, but more looking long term than short. Also he's...
