There is alot of "it depends" to answer that, but nowadays its easiest to get a RetroTink to convert it to HDMI and split/capture that. The 2x Pro for 480p and below (as well as being the cheap option) or the 5x Pro for higher resolutions (and many more scaling options to improve the quality).

I do recommend the nicely packaged single dongle plug devices and not the weird looking things on aliexpress.
