Lurking dingus

No such thing as bad guilty gear
A little ago you posted about beating a CULTIC level on a high difficulty mode by methodically luring enemies into 1-on-1 ambushes and i don't think there's a more different way to play an FPS game to how nuDoom is designed than that

Based on the other games you post about i'm actually not surprised by this. The modern dooms are flow-state games where the fun comes from getting into the zone where your decisions are somewhat unconscious, and you're mostly a strategy thinky gamer.

I really liked your take on them in your novel Delta-V where the "evil femdom" stuff is basically a form of blood libel because they're a matriarchal society

Basically conceding the shooter's belief that Australian Jews should be treated as fundamentally associated with Israel and its crimes

still a few more months technically, clinging to that desperately

You can get away with limited wincons more in commander is the reason I think. The people secretly crave 40/60 card, they just don't know it.

I had to verify my age to see posts here tagged as adult content, so there's at least one other thing that's restricted

One of the playable characters from all-quadruped fighting game Them's Fighting Herds is a dragon

funnily enough I feel like i see the term way more often used to refer to rich people working for egalitarian causes than the other way around

I've always assumed it was to make sure kids wouldn't disassemble it out of curiosity with screwdrivers they had easily at hand, then not be able to reassemble it or damage it while doing so

All the fullcast episodes other than the midweek one are paywalled on purpose

Works fine for me in Australia

Frustrating how many people learn one bad thing about their country's history and take away "actually it always sucked and the good things it also has done aren't real". The gender binary isn't the only binary people need to escape

Also the KKK isn't even one organization, its fallen apart and been revived multiple times in different forms and the first one was absolutely understood to be a terror group even if the modern language to describe it didn't exist yet

I disagree with this somewhat, most strands of liberalism embrace the state (or a functionally similar entity) as a necessity for protecting individual rights. That doesn't seem compatible with any form of anarchism that I'm aware of

Personally I'd just call it liberalism. The liberal conception of autonomy extending to personal property makes it generally compatible with capitalism but it's a broad enough ideology that the association isn't required for liberalism to make sense

its a tough skill to learn but *really* fun when you nail it. its like playing a pixie character in fighting games where every engagement feels like its happening when you want it to and on your terms

the game Boltgun is fantastic for showing this, the titular gun massacres cultists but takes nearly a full magazine to drop even a basic chaos marine let alone champions, terminators or demons
August 24, 2025 at 4:51 AM
i've felt like the 40k fandom has started to internalize in the last couple years that both in lore and mechanics the boltgun is good at mulching lightly armoured human-equivalent infantry and mediocre at anything even slightly tougher

Bats are very halloweeney, and while there's some overlap with vampires I don't remember your vampire stories having anything really related

Voting 🐉 again today. By Ruin Redeemed is perhaps my favourite thing you've written actually.
