Had such intense dreams about not completing one of the assignments for my university degree I woke up at one point and started checking my emails for notes.

Spending the days before Christmas in the office has reduced me to typing all the games I've played this year into a spreadsheet, because it's the most fun thing I can think of that looks like actual work.

Sometimes think I play Battlefield 6 too much, then get teamed with someone literally 100 levels higher then me and are relieved to be reminded of my ability to touch grass.

Remarkable how dead on arrival Battlefield 6's take on Battle Royale is. Not even a month in and it's a struggle to find games on a Friday night.
I'd like to think it's the start of the decline of the popularity of the genre, but know it's way more likely that it's just not a very refined thing.

Finally had the moment every Lego fan dreads of a large expensive set falling and just exploding into a million pieces upon impact with the floor. Managed to stay reasonably calm despite all the internal screaming.

Really compelled by Battlefield 6 despite the bizarre torrent of online hate for it. For every moment a dumb team member leaves you for dead there's another where you feel like you're really swaying the tide of battle. Good to have the series firing on all cylinders again.

Returned from holiday on an overnight flight I failed to sleep on, meaning I had about 2 hours sleep in 36 hours followed by 14 hours where I was dead to the world. My body is not very happy right now.

Theme parks have a sort of arcane magic to them that fascinates me; you can wait two hours in a queue and completely lose the will to live, only for the two to three minute ride experience to completely reignite your enthusiasm.
