If society took women's Anything seriously there'd probably been funding plenty by the 90s to develop reliable external gestation.
But instead dudes won't believe and don't care how obscenely gritty it is, and then scratch their heads at why the 'child bearing' caste isn't as interested as expected.

Is 'flamingo' the name of some kind of weapon?
Or are you saying Ukraine should go florida-man on them

Libraries tend to have publicly usable printers with just a small fee for color
Maybe you could shop up an image of another season's box to look how 4 should have to print out and cover up that bit of rudeness

Is it accurate to get the external impression that England is basically just leeching off Ireland and Scotland with nothing to offer in return but loss of European access, intrusions on their govt function, and pisspoor excuses on why they can't write up a way to leave the 'voluntary' union?

Atleast this particular form of embarrassment can be used to find news sources that aren't letting them smear their grubby sausages all over

Wonder if the vitriol is from highly empathetic people stuck between the denial and anger stages of grieving the realization that the plan didn't work, and genocides are escalating+multiplying. Passing it to focus on solutions would mean accepting the parts everyone played, and fuck that would hurt.

Im concerned that so many trans people who don't see a worthwhile difference between progressing rights obnoxiously slowly, and having psycho crotch police actively revoke them while trying to figure out how to legally exterminate us, is going to make cis people think we broadly don't want to live.

But they need to protect the cities from - uh
Hang on. (Checks notes)
...Their standard inhabitants!

(Especially if there's a giant frog nearby. If it dances alert the government that is code red)

things haven't improved for the palestinians. brown people are being rounded up and shipped en masse to a torture prison. six+ million africans are expected to die. everyone relying on ACA for life saving medication is probably going to die next year...
if only there had been relentless warnings.

I'm still getting poked for a days old comment, so gonna point out in case the reason is folks think I'm gonna listen to people who openly note in profile that they work tech for corpos that have lobbied against my rights... I'm not. Nor will I take the pity card from another trans person who will.

no one is getting justice for indigenous peoples without electing a party that campaigns on healthcare, infrastructure, and standard of living. no one is getting any of those without electing a party that's likely to consider also addressing indigenous peoples. cherrypicking will only yield oranges.

those things might not sound like they should be related, but the world is currently facing insistant interference attempts from capitalist authoritarianists because rights and general wellbeing threatens the bottom line, and they pigeonhole everything they don't like into the same stompable corner.
November 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM
do you wanna live in 'Merica 2.0(Maple Edition)?
because the venn diagram of parties likely to care about the former and those that campaign on the latter is a circle. and crayoning-in lines that aren't naturally between stuff like that is how the US left got divided enough to lose to a rapey mango.

yyeaaahhhh but the term 'liberal' has been muddled to the point where it's not common knowledge here that it means more than just "left of burning crosses on peoples' lawns"
because of that thing where the people who want to do that overuse the hell out of it and call everything liberal.
November 29, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Mayhaps people could respond by boycotting talc products so that instead making it dangerous to use costs them money. Make that bribe an expense that doesn't pay off

if i show this post to an avid life-long zelda fan who has just said that she needs to destress because a game made her fight eight bosses back to back and all she got for it was a rank, is she likely to travel four miles at almost two in the morning to strangle me?
November 28, 2025 at 9:42 AM
how about folks debunk the myth of it being a bad thing if the rich leave
they are not going to spend that money locally regardless. what does get spent goes to other rich people, far away. it will NEVER reenter local economy. the leak has convinced the ship it's loadbearing.

Frankly, not even low project funding is an excuse, because that just means you took on more projects than you could afford to. That's called being irresponsible.
Do you plan to switch to using humans for all your projects once funding is high enough? If not, you are contributing to human job loss.
November 27, 2025 at 9:39 AM
No amount of pointing all "but they're doing it too!" first grader style is going to make folks okay with any of you doing it.
And no one who was older than 12 before the AI boom is going to buy that any business can't function without it. We all know you just don't want to pay for real employees.

maybe they could use reminding that having food in the fridge is only a good thing if it's not growing "fur".
or how much owning a car is functionally worth when its engine is fried.
or how great that first week/2 of the month is when rent is paid, but there's nothing left over to keep utilities on.
