Trump lives in an alternate universe where he creates issues from whole cloth and then solves them. By solving non-existent issues it eliminates the need to have to actually do anything, and his cult members will just lap it up.

Americans are so ignorant of history. They called it ‘The Great Melting Pot’ for a reason. If you renounce any previous ties, take an oath to the Constitution, you are as American as anyone. That’s what made us the shining city on a hill. That is what made the world love us, and want to be like us.
