This seems to have picked up some traction so here's another recent shot, from the new edition of Blood Bowl.

I am quite sick and fed up at the moment. You can cheer me up somewhat by following my hobby Insta, if you like, which has more pictures like this. It is unremembered_empire on the other place.

Watching The Brain of Morbius for Doctor Who day with pals. This story implies one of two things: either Time Lord brains glow and flash when they talk, or Solon put a fun lightbulb in Morbius's for a laugh.

This is fun and I'm not sure how widely it's been picked up yet. The opening to the trailer for the new Hunger Games seems like a pretty direct nod to David Bowie's performance on SNL.

Here David, what's the temperature like round your house today?

Must admit, I'm pretty happy with how this guy came out.

Yes please! The 3 years per season model has broken TV.

I've been working on a million Warhammer projects of late, including some cool unreleased stuff. If that's your thing, I've started a new Instagram, unremembered_empire on the other place.

Completed my collection of the Terry Pratchett "letterbox" editions after well over a decade by finding a good condition copy of the absurdly rare Interesting Times. The last time I saw this book for sale it went for close to £200. (I did not pay that much, but it was fairly spicy.)

Amid all the stuff going on right now I missed that it would have been my Dad's 98th birthday this week. Here he is, and with me and mum in British Columbia back in the 90s. Happy belated birthday, Dad.

Loved One Battle After Another, but it doesn't unseat Phantom Thread as my favourite PTA, mainly for its distressing lack of Reynolds Woodcock

One for my Who fan friends, but this is some bullshit. You stole one of 8 TARDIS props in a story that didn't feature it, did ya? And cycled off with it on a bike? Chinny reckon

Alerted to the existence of 1969 oddity The Watchers by Folklore Tapes' new project. Turns out it's free to watch on BFI Player and well worth 26 minutes of your time. High strangeness in Todmorden! Picnic at Hanging Rock in the Pennines! Go go go

A while back I made the decision to get all the Discworld books in the "Letterbox" format. I have them all except for Interesting Times, which I've only seen once in knackered condition (I still bought it). If you have a good condition copy of the book in this format I will pay good money for it!

I'm rewatching Casino Royale the way god intended - on DVD, while photographing every instance of a character staring intently at an early '00s mobile

One of my birthday gifts from my partner is the beautiful Folio edition of one of my favourite novels, Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. Gorgeous edition and an immediate reread.
