... because the word seemed so over-the-top fascist that surely no company would bother trying to use it as their actual company. Almost immediatley I was approached by two separate companies named Ubersoft trying to buy the domain from me.
And now we have freaking Palantir and Sauron.

I remember waaaay back in the early days of Help Desk I changed the company's name from "MegaSoft" to "Ubersoft" because there was an actual company named "MegaSoft" I knew nothing about, so it seemed unfair to dunk on them. I chose "Ubersoft"...

There's a standup routine where some guy explains the differences between all three and then wraps up with "the reason most people don't explain this is because it makes you sound like a pedophile" and that's the only time I ever thought it worked.

I'm not. However, you seem to hate AI so much (hey, I can understand that part) that you're advocating actual human beings stop writing actual human things in actual human ways because AI -- trained off things actual human beings wrote -- has fixated on one piece of actual human writing.
